You’re Another Year Wiser–MFT Wednesday Sketch Challenge #418

MFTWSC418_2019jan2

Hi, everyone, I’m back with this week’s MFT Wednesday Sketch Challenge! Are you ready? Here’s this week’s sketch. All of the details about the sketch challenge are available on the MFT Challenge & Inspiration blog as well as in the weekly newsletter. The MFT Design Team will be on hand to provide plenty of inspiration to get you started.

I decided to create a little mini scene for this card—the circle element said “moon” or “sun” to me and I went with moon ;-) I started by sponging my dark blue background using After Midnight and Blueberry Premium Dye Ink on Strathmore Bristol Smooth paper then splattered some slightly watered down Copic Opaque White for the starry sky. Once that was dry I heat embossed the sentiment from Forever and  Owlways Stamp Set. I popped that up on a panel of Black & White Stripes paper pack that was directly adhered to the Sweet Tooth card stock base.

Then I stamped the images from Forever and Owlways Stamp Set, cut it out with the coordinating Die-namics, colored them with Copic markers, and popped them up in the scene, then finished off with the moon, cut from Sweet Tooth card stock with Circle STAX Set 1.

And there you have it! Remember, you can get all the details by visiting the
MFT Challenge Blog. You have the chance to win a $50 in MFT voucher. One winner is chosen at random each week!

Thanks for stopping by! See you soon!
