Celebrate, it's Your Day! MFT March Birthday Project Challenge

Rainbows are always the right choice — especially for celebratory occasions like birthdays! While MFT offers a number of options in our selection of stamps and Die-namics that are a literal representation of this iconic imagery, incorporating that cheery color combo can be done in an endless variety of ways. Get creative this month and share your rainbow-inspired birthday cards with us!

Rainbows are so much fun to incorporate into a project. I decided to make my rainbow the focal point but not be overwhelming, so to begin, I used Copic markers to color a rainbow design on some Sweet Tooth card stock then cut Celebrate Die-namics from it. I used a Black Licorice card stock base and added a layer of Sweet Tooth on which I stamped Happy Birthday Background and adhered it to the base.

I dry embossed more Sweet Tooth card stock with Star Celebration Stencil and popped it up on foam tape, then added some Silver Sparkle card stock cut with Stitched Fishtail Sentiment Strip, some Birthday Blowout paper pack, and a heat embossed sentiment from Yay for You Stamp Set. I adhered the rainbow colored Celebrate and finished off with some Silver Sparkle stars cut with Tag Builder Blueprints 6 Die-namics.

And that's it from me today! Thanks so much for stopping by! Be sure to stop by the MFT Challenge Blog to see more inspiration and to play along for a chance to win a $50 gift voucher from MFT Stamps!
