MFT March Release Countdown, Day Four!

Hello and welcome to Day Four of MFT’s  March Release Countdown!! Today we’re previewing BB Best in Show Stamp Set, BB Best in Show Die-namics, Just Ducky Stamp Set, Just Ducky Die-namics, and Ray of Light Stencil. Release is on March 12th at 10am Eastern so mark your calendars! And be sure to stop by the MFT Blog for all the details.

For my first card I’m using the new Birdie Brown Best in Show Stamp Set and Die-namics. Funnily enough, I recently watched a little of the Westminster Dog Show and I recognized the course stations so it was fun to put them on this card. I started by doing a watercolor wash on some Ranger Watercolor paper with Peerless Watercolors. When it was dry I splattered it with clean water and black acrylic ink to add some interest and popped it up on the card base with foam tape.

The images were stamped on No Line Coloring Card Stock with Extreme Black Hybrid ink, cut out with the coordinating Die-namics, and colored them with Copic markers then added them to the card front with foam tape.

To finish off, I added some stars cut with Tag Builder Blueprints 4 Die-namics from Gold Shine and Gold Sparkle card stocks and either adhered them directly to the card front or popped them up on foam. I love how this turned out!

For my second card, I created a fun little scene.

I started by creating my background by first sponging the bottom of the card front with some Lemon Chiffon Premium Dye Ink as a base, then stencil the new Ray of Light Stencil with Lemon Drop Premium Dye ink. At the top I sponged some Blue Breeze dye ink. Next I added Stitched Valley Die-namics cut from Gumdrop Green card stock and Grassy Fields Die-namics cut from Sour Apple card stock stamped with the sentiment.

The images were stamped with Extreme Black Hybrid ink, cut with the coordinating Die-namics, colored with Copic markers, and popped up in the scene with foam tape.

And that’s it from me today! Thanks so much for stopping by! See you back tomorrow for Day Three of MFT’s March Release Countdown!
