Peace on Earth–MFT Wednesday Sketch Challenge #458

Hi, everyone, I’m back with this week’s MFT Wednesday Sketch Challenge! Are you ready? Here’s this week’s sketch. All of the details about the sketch challenge are available on the MFT Blog as well as in the weekly newsletter. The MFT Design Team will be on hand to provide plenty of inspiration to get you started.

This one had me stumped until I just decided to use it as a graphic background and go from there. I decided to keep the layout simple so the sketch elements and design didn’t fight with each other. First I did a alcohol ink background for a night sky using deep blue and purple inks. Then I cut the sketch pieces and matted them with Silver Sparkle card stock and popped them up on a Sweet Tooth card stock base.

Next I cut the star from Little Town of Bethlehem Die-namics and part of Peace on Earth Die-namics, layered them up, and adhered them to the card front. With a white gel pen and a ruler, I drew a starburst. This picked up the purple ink which I thought was pretty cool by helping to bring out the purple.

And there you have it! Remember, you can get all the details by visiting the
MFT Blog. You have the chance to win a $50 in MFT voucher. One winner is chosen at random each week!

Thanks for stopping by! See you soon!
