Hi, everyone, I’m back with this week’s MFT Wednesday Sketch Challenge! Are you ready? Here’s this week’s sketch. This one had me stumped until I just decided to use it as a graphic background and go from there. I decided to keep the layout simple so the sketch elements and design didn’t fight with each other. First I did a alcohol ink background for a night sky using deep blue and purple inks. Then I cut the sketch pieces and matted them with Silver Sparkle card stock and popped them up on a Sweet Tooth card stock base.
Next I cut the star from Little Town of Bethlehem Die-namics and part of Peace on Earth Die-namics, layered them up, and adhered them to the card front. With a white gel pen and a ruler, I drew a starburst. This picked up the purple ink which I thought was pretty cool by helping to bring out the purple.
