Hi, all, welcome to MFT's June Outside the Box Challenge! This month's theme is Underwater Adventures and what fun it is!
To begin, I cut the base of Outside the Box Die-namics with Caribbean Sea card stock and assembled it. For the background, I stenciled Micro Cloud Edges on Sweet Tooth card stock with Lazy Day dye ink then adhered it inside the box.
I added clear acetate to the back of the "window" which added stability to that large opening, which was cut with A2 Stitched Rectangle STAX Set 1.Next, I cut Outside the Box Snow Drifts from Kraft card stock and spattered it with Kraft and Vintage Timber dye inks then added them as shelves to the bottom inside of the box.
Summer Splash card stock was cut with Outside the Box Wave Die-namics, spattered with white craft paint, then Summer Splash and Caribbean Sea dye inks, trimmed so they didn't extend below the window, and adhered as top shelves.
Images were stamped and cut with the coordinating Die-namics. Line images were colored with Copic markers, then added to the bottom shelves using strips of clear acetate. The whale image was adhered to one of the waves. The sentiment was heat embossed on Black Licorice card stock cut with Skinny Strips Die-namics and popped up on foam. A Lemon Chiffon sun was cut with A2 Circle STAX and a few Petite Clouds Die-namics, cut from Sweet Tooth card stock were popped up on foam for the finish.
Thanks so much for stopping by! See you soon!
