To a Fantastic Mom - Color Throwdown Challenge #647

Hello and welcome to a brand new Color Throwdown Challenge! This week Lori is our hostess and she has chosen a great color combo for us to play with.

I didn't get a chance to use the adorable Rachelle Anne Miller Tweetheart Stamp Set and Die-namics during the recent release so I got them out for today's card.

To begin, I cut Sweet Tooth card stock with Inside & Out Stitched Circle STAX and stamped the sentiment from the set. Next I sponged Micro Cloud Edges Stencil with Abandoned Coral Distress Ink and inserted it behind the circle and adhered to the card base.

Next, I stamped the image on No Line Coloring card stock with Extreme Black hybrid ink, cut them out with the coordinating Die-namics, and colored them with Copic markers. The only thing left was to pop the images up in the circle with foam tape.

And that’s it from me! Remember, you do not have to have the exact colors to play the Color Throwdown challenge. If you don't, just use the closest you have. So, c'mon over to the Color Throwdown blog and play along with us this week. Please use the link service to post your card and please link directly to your card so we can find it easily. And please include a link in your post to the Color Throwdown. If you upload your card to a public forum, please use the keyword #CTD647 so we can see your beauty all in one place, and use #ctd647 and #colorthrowdown on social media. Hope to see you there! Be sure to check out what the other team members have come up with this week!

  1. I really like your card and sentiment. It goes well with what the card is saying and not only in words.
