Countdown Kickoff--Five Days Until MFT's September Release!

Hello and welcome to Day Five of MFT's September Release Countdown! Release is in five days, September 7th, at 10am Eastern so make a note! And be sure to stop by the MFT Blog for ALL the details! Today we're previewing SY Christmas Carols Stamp Set, Christmas Carols Die-namics, RAM Away in a Manger Stamp Set, Away in a Manger Die-namics, Stitched Tall Triangle STAX Die-namics, Christmas Greetings Background Stamp, and Keep Me in Stitches Patterned Paper Pad.

I love Nativity scenes and this little one is so adorable I just HAD to use it!! To begin, I created my background, using Broken China, Blueprint Sketch, Chipped Sapphire, & Black Soot Distress Inks, along with MFT Kraft dye ink. Once dry, I spattered some diluted white craft paint and stamped the sentiment with Extreme Black hybrid ink and adhered it to a Sweet Tooth card stock base.

I wanted to create a "stable" for the little family and thought Barn Die-namics was the best place to start. I cut the top from Kraft card stock and the uprights using Straight-Up Rainbow Die-namics. Each piece was sponged with Kraft dye ink and the structure assembled and popped up on the card front with foam tape.

The image was stamped on No Line Coloring card stock with Extreme Black hybrid ink, cut out with the coordinating Die-namics, colored with Copic markers, and popped up on the card front with foam tape. The star was cut from Silver Sparkle card stock and it was done!

And that's it from me today--thanks so much for stopping by! See you back tomorrow for Day Four of MFT's September Release Countdown!
