Merry & Bright - MFT Wednesday Sketch Challenge #559

Hi, everyone, I’m back with this week’s MFT Wednesday Sketch Challenge! Are you ready? Here’s this week’s sketch. All of the details about the sketch challenge are available on the MFT Blog as well as in the weekly newsletter. The MFT Design Team will be on hand to provide plenty of inspiration to get you started.

As I often do when I'm looking for an idea for a card, I just flipped through my product and as soon as I saw Christmas Lights Die-namics I knew I had a winner!

To begin, I cut the strings and socket from Jalapeño Popper card stock and the bulbs from No Line Coloring card stock because I wanted to color them instead of cutting from card stock. Next I cut the words from Gold Sparkle card stock using In Stitches Uppercase and Lowercase Alphabets and In Stitches Numbers.

Using Slimline Starter Die-namics, I cut Black Licorice card stock for the card front and sponged it first with white then gold pigment ink around the edges for just a little interest then adhered it directly to a Sweet Tooth card stock base.

The rest was easy--simply pop all the elements up on the card front with foam tape and finish off with a few gold glitter enamel dots!

And there you have it! Now it’s YOUR turn to play! Remember, you can get all the details by visiting the MFT Blog. You have the chance to win a $50 in MFT voucher. Winners are chosen at random, so everyone has a chance!

Thanks for stopping by! See you soon!
