Winter Wishes - Color Throwdown Challenge #661

Hello and welcome to a brand new Color Throwdown Challenge! This week our hostess is Amy Rysavy and she has chosen a neutral color palette for us to work with.

These colors reminded me of a snowy January day so I went with it. To begin, on Cement Gray card stock, I traced Stitched Snow Drifts Die-namics and then stamped Wonderful Woods over and over using Kraft, Cement Gray, and Gravel Gray dye inks. Once that was done I spattered it with diluted white craft ink to resemble snow falling.

When *that* was dry I popped it up on a Chantilly Cream card stock base, then cut Sweet Tooth card stock with Stitched Snow Drifts Die-namics and adhered the back layer directly. The front layer was stamped with a sentiment from Bitty Holiday Wishes Stamp Set, tied around with natural hemp cord, and popped up on foam for the finish.

And that’s it from me! Remember, you do not have to have the exact colors to play the Color Throwdown challenge. If you don't, just use the closest you have. So, c'mon over to the Color Throwdown blog and play along with us this week. Please use the link service to post your card and please link directly to your card so we can find it easily. And please include a link in your post to the Color Throwdown. If you upload your card to a public forum, please use the keyword #CTD661 so we can see your beauty all in one place, and use #ctd661 and #colorthrowdown on social media. Hope to see you there! Be sure to check out what the other team members have come up with this week!
