Hello, Bootiful - MFT Wednesday Sketch Challenge #558

Hi, everyone, I’m back with this week’s MFT Wednesday Sketch Challenge! Are you ready? Here’s this week’s sketch. All of the details about the sketch challenge are available on the MFT Blog as well as in the weekly newsletter. The MFT Design Team will be on hand to provide plenty of inspiration to get you started.

Well, this was a tricky one--I sure was wishing we had a Cover-Up Die-namics for it, LOL! But, alas, I had to resort to making my own, which I did by using Stitched Square STAX Die-namics.

To begin, I sponged an A2 panel of Strathmore Bristol Smooth paper with
Broken China, Blueprint Sketch, Chipped Sapphire, Black Soot Distress Inks and stenciled the grass using Grassy Edges Stencil and Jalapeño Popper dye ink then spattered diluted white craft paint for the stars. Once dry, I carefully measured and cut out my squares and popped the "frame" up on a Sweet Tooth card stock base. The die cuts were adhered into the openings, directly to the card base for some dimension.

Next I stamped the images from BB Fab-BOO-lous Friends Stamp Set on No Line Coloring card stock, colored them with Copic markers, fussy cut them out, and popped them up both inside the squares and on the frame. The sentiment was heat embossed with white detail embossing powder on Black Licorice card stock cut with Essential Stitched Sentiment Strips Die-namics and also adhered with foam tape.

And there you have it! Now it’s YOUR turn to play! Remember, you can get all the details by visiting the MFT Blog. You have the chance to win a $50 in MFT voucher. Winners are chosen at random, so everyone has a chance!

Thanks for stopping by! See you soon!
