Hello! MFT's January Card Kit, Celebrate Everything, releases tomorrow at 10am Eastern so set your clocks! And be sure to stop by the MFT Blog today to get all the details and more inspiration from the design team.
For today's card I took this sentiment from Celebrate Everything Stamp set literally and used Perfect Present Die-namics to create a gift card holder.
I could have just attached the card to the box top and had it pull out of the bottom but I was afraid it would just FALL out too easily so I created a slider element to make it a little more secure.
After adhering paper from Time to Celebrate Patterned Paper to Sweet Tooth card stock for strength, I cut the channels with Spin & Slide Channels Die-namics then adhered that to a Sweet Tooth card stock base with two layers of foam tape.
I placed Slider Elements in the channels and after a couple of trials found the best placement for them on the back of the gift card, then adhered the assembled box top with foam tape.
And here's the front view.
To facilitate removal of the card, I stamped "PULL" from Interactive Labels Stamp Set with Moroccan Spice Dye Ink on Sweet Tooth card stock cut with Twist & Turn Interactive Die-namics. It slides out easily but also feels secure in the "box" when not being removed.
