Flourishes Friday–Sweet Days Of Summer

I’m  back today with the last set in Flourishes August release. Another sweet, sweet set from Lauren Pope, a follow up to last year’s Kids Play. I know I said I’m ready for Fall—and I AM, but I thought I’d give Summer one last shout out ;-)

Love these summery papers from Bo Bunny’s Barefoot and Bliss so I took my cue from them. I stamped the image on Classic White card stock with Memento Danube Blue ink and outlined it with pale blue green Copic markers in BG0000 and BG000. I matted it with more white and stitched around it. Some orange baker’s twine ties on the adorable sentiment, cut out with my Grand Calibur and a Standard Circle Nestabilities die, used as a tag. I added some clear Dew Drops to the image panel and the sentiment tag to simulate drops of water.
