It’s what you’ve been waiting for! The August release is now live in the MFT Boutique and we’re hoppin’! The hop starts at the MFT Blog, so be sure you start there—you don’t want to miss anything along the way, do you? Nah, I thought not :)
Tonight I’m showing you Inspired By - the Beach, the next set in the lovely and vintage Inspired By… line. Just look at that hammock slung between two palm trees. Could anything look more relaxing? I love how there’s nothing else—your imagination can run wild with whatever is just beyond the horizon. Sigh.
I stamped the image on some neutral paper and colored lightly with my Copic markers, then cut it out with the new Tag, You’re It Die-namics and Stamp Set die, distressed the edges a bit, then popped it on on the perfect paper for this vintage look: Graphic 45’s Boardwalk. Two little designs on the paper fit perfectly on the new Just the Ticket Die-namics and Stamp Set die, so I tucked them behind the tag. A little stitching, some black twill, and some black flat back glittery beads finished it off.
And here’s the inside with another sentiment from the set. Wouldn’t mind sitting back in one of these chairs listening to the ocean, either, would you?
So, there you have it! Now you need to hop on over to the ever so talented Julie’s blog to see what she has for you. I’m sure it’s amazing, so let’s go!
Thanks so much for stopping by! I’ll be back in a couple of hours with this week’s MFT Wednesday Sketch Challenge, so I hope to see you there!
