It’s time for another Color Throwdown! Today Tammy is our host and here are the colors she picked for us to work with this week:
I went a little on the CAS side today. White card base, clouds made using my MFT Die-namics Cloud Trio dies, and a colorful kite along with a BIG sentiment.
I cut the clouds out with some white corrugated cardboard for a little texture to make them show up on the white background. Then I cut my kite using my Die-namics Fly a Kite die, and added patterned paper in the challenge colors. The kite tale is some twine with the die-cut bows also in Kraft. I wanted all the color to be on the kite itself. The sentiment is from the just released Big Greetings set, which is this month’s Triple Scoop set.
Here’s a close-up of the clouds.
Here’s a close-up of the kite—love all those patterned papers!
And a close up of the sentiment. I love these new big sentiments!
And, finally, here’s the inside of the card with another sentiment from the set.
Here are the Die-namics dies I used on this card:
Remember, you do not have to have the exact colors to play the Color Throwdown challenge. If you don't, just use the closest you have. So, c'mon over to the Color Throwdown blog and play along with us this week. Please use the link service to post your card and please link directly to your card so we can find it easily. And please include a link in your post to the Color Throwdown. If you upload your card to a public forum, please use the keyword CTD182 so we can see your beauty all in one place. Hope to see you there! Be sure to check out what the other team members have come up with this week, including our March Guest Designer, Bev Gerard!
