Today we’re showing you WTG Let’s Grab Drinks. I decided to serve up a little Appletini for my girl here so I went with a very preppy green and pink color combo :) WTG is colored with Copic markers except for her dress, which is paper pieced, then the whole thing was matted with matching card stock.
For my sentiment, I ad libbed a bit. I stamped the first part of it (from the set) on a Die-namics First Place Award Ribbon die cut, then moved on, using the smallest of the soon-to-be-released Jumbo Banner Day STAX. Yep, you read that right—banner STAX are coming to MFT this month! Be still my beating heart!
I stamped the letters from Typewriter Alphabet on the Die-namics Banner Strip sections, cut them off the strip and adhered them to the new STAX die cut. Then I adhered the pennants to some Peapod baker’s twine and popped my little banner up on foam dots. MFT now has a wide range of pennant sizes—one for every occasion!
I finished up the sentiment by stamping “Hour” (also in one of the sentiments in the set) on one of the glasses from another new Die-namics set releasing this month: Let’s Toast.
I hope you can see how I added some sparkle to the class with a glitter pen.
And here’s the inside, with another sentiment from the set:
Here are the Die-namics dies I used on this card:
Thanks so much for stopping by! I hope to see you later on today when I have my MFT Wednesday Sketch Challenge card!
