Welcome to this week’s Color Throwdown Challenge! I’m the host this week and here’s my challenge, inspired by the image below:
I decided to go with a pretty simple layout and use the awesome Die-namics Contempo Cage and Stamp Set for my card. Actually, my card is mostly die cuts—something I’m finding I’m doing more and more due to the wide range of dies carried by MFT. So, I basically created a little scene, adding a Die-namics Leafy Flourish, and a Die-namics Royal Rose. The sentiment was stamped on a Die-namics First Place Award Ribbon die cut and attached under the rose.
For the hanging chain, I used a bit of Tim Holtz chain, attached with a tiny dot of hot glue.
Here’s the inside with another sentiment from the set.
Here are the Die-namics dies I used on this card:
Remember, you do not have to have the exact colors to play the Color Throwdown challenge. If you don't, just use the closest you have. So, c'mon over to the Color Throwdown blog and play along with us this week. Please use the link service to post your card and please link directly to your card so we can find it easily. And please include a link in your post to the Color Throwdown. If you upload your card to a public forum, please use the keyword CTD184 so we can see your beauty all in one place. Hope to see you there! Be sure to check out what the other team members have come up with this week!
