It’s that time of the month! Time for Flourishes’ March release and, boy have we got some lovelies for you this month.
Today we’re showing you Mother’s Words Of Wisdom, a set with a GORGEOUS wreath of peonies and some very special sentiments.
Today’s the day we introduce this month’s 1, 2, 3 Create Kit, too, and I’m one of the lucky ones who get to show it to you :)
I love this new set—that wreath is a color-er’s dream! But I can also see it being done much more simply, too. Something for everyone! BUT I did color mine. I stamped it on Classic White (Tip: I’m not sure if I’m the only one, but I can’t color on Ivory card stock. LOVE it for bases and other things, so when I want an “Ivory” look, I simply color on white and sponge with Antique Linen Distress Ink—works like a charm) card stock with Memento Rich Cocoa ink and colored it with these Copic Collections.
Then I designed my card, using this month’s 1, 2, 3 Create Kit contents: paper, ribbon, and the Candi embellishments. I also did a little stitching and then popped the wreath up on foam dots after I stamped the sentiment in the center.
Now, be sure to check out what the rest of the design team has for you today...
