Hi! Today I have a scrapbook page I recently made. Second one! This might become a habit ;-) This page is for a couple of photos I took wen we went to the MFT Retreat in May. DH and I drove and stopped for a couple of nights in Savannah, Georgia. We loved it and definitely want to go back for a longer stay. In our walk around the city, we came upon this unique gate—the Sunflower Gate. I thought LJD Splendid Sunflower was a perfect reason to get this one on a page. Another recently released set, LLD Document It – Enjoy the Journey furnishes the sentiment.
I’m using a Maya Road album—8 x 8 with a binder that I think will be fun to decorate, too. I played with some different mediums for this page—molding paste, paint, ink, gesso—fun stuff! The layer right on top of the patterned paper was created by me, using MPD Distressed Background Blocks, LJD Art Expression Text, LLD Journal It – For the Record, and MPD Stone Wall stencil. This was lots of fun and I’m already looking forward to the next page documenting this trip. The journaling was done on a Die-namics LLD Insert It – 3 x 4 Notebook Paper stamped with LLD Journal It – For the Record.
Thanks so much for stopping by!
