Hi, everyone, I’m back again with this week’s MFT Wednesday Sketch Challenge! Are you ready? Here’s this week’s sketch. All of the details about the sketch challenge are available on the MFT Challenge & Inspiration blog as well as in the weekly newsletter. The MFT Challenge & Inspiration Team will be on hand to provide plenty of inspiration to get you started.

When I saw the sketch all I could think about was snow drifts or the new Ride the Wave Die-namics. Since it’s getting a little late to create cards with snow drifts, I opted for the waves :) I have a video showing how this card came together with a cool way to line those wave elements up flawlessly and painlessly. You can click on the button below or watch it HERE in HD on my YouTube Channel.

I’ll run through it quickly here, too. I started with a Sweet Tooth card stock base. Then I trimmed down another piece of Sweet Tooth card stock and rounded the upper corners, per the sketch. I cut my Ride the Wave Die-namics from Pure Plum card stock, Summer Splash card stock, Fuse Green card stock, In the Buff card stock, and Limelight card stock, assembled it and adhered it to the Sweet Tooth card stock panel. I stamped the sentiment, from Wavy Greetings, with Steel gray dye ink, added a Cute Cameras 2 Die-namics cut from Steel Gray card stock and embellished with the card colors and some silver glitter paper, then popped it up on foam. A few enamel dots finished it off.

On the INSIDE, I stamped a sentiment from LLD Picture This with Steel Gray dye ink.
