MFTandFriends

I got out a couple of products I hadn’t had a chance to use during the countdown for this card. I started with a Sweet Tooth card stock base. Next I trimmed down some Ranger Watercolor Paper and did a watercolor wash for my background using Peerless Watercolors. After it was dry I splattered some black and silver acrylic inks with a small art brush for some interest.

While all that was drying I cut Hearts Entwined Die-namics from Silver Sparkle card stock and heat embossed the sentiment from Sweet Nothings Stamp Set with white embossing powder on Black Licorice card stock and fussy cut around it to simulate a mat. Then I adhered the watercolor panel to the card front with a sheet of fun foam (often a watercolor wash panel will warp and this will flatten it out), adhered the Hearts Entwined die cut with spray adhesive, and popped the sentiment up on foam tape for the finish.

And that’s it from me today--thanks so much for stopping by! See you soon!
