Are You Ready??? Two Days Until MFT's December Release!

Hello and welcome to Day Two of MFT's December Release Countdown! Release is in five days, December 8th, at 10am Eastern so make a note! Be sure to stop by the MFT Blog for ALL the details! Today we're previewing
Blastoff Buddies Stamp Set, Blastoff Buddies Die-namics, Outside the Box Clouds Die-namics, Let's Curl Up Stamp Set, and Let's Curl Up Die-namics

I'm using Blastoff Buddies Stamp Set and Die-namics for today's card. First I created the background using Blueprint Sketch, Chipped Sapphire, Picked Raspberry, Wilted Violet, and Black Soot Distress Inks, with white craft paint spattered with a small art brush for the stars.

Next I cut the background with Inside & Out Stitched Circle STAX to represent the "orbit" in the sentiment, adhered the circle to a Sweet Tooth card stock base and popped the outer panel up on foam.

The images were stamped on No Line Coloring card stock with Extreme Black hybrid ink, cut with the coordinating Die-namics, and colored with Copic markers. Once I decided on placement, the images were added, either directly or popped up on foam. The sentiment was heat embossed on Black Licorice card stock cut with Essential Stitched Sentiment Strips and also adhered with foam tape.

And that's it from me today! Thanks so much for stopping by! See you back tomorrow for the last day of MFT December Release Countdown!

  1. Hi, Barbara - I LOVE your inkblending!! It's GORGEOUS. I like the whole card and the message is apt for now ... we're in each others' orbits, just not each others' personal space. Love it.
    Wishing you a happy holiday,

  5. Your background looks sprayed on. Not sure how you created that effect, but it's amazing. Love it.
