Hi, everyone, I’m back with this week’s MFT Wednesday Sketch Challenge! Are you ready? Here’s this week’s sketch. All of the details about the sketch challenge are available on the MFT Blog as well as in the weekly newsletter. The MFT Design Team will be on hand to provide plenty of inspiration to get you started.
It took me a bit to envision a design for this sketch but I love what I finally came up with! I had to put a bit of thought into it but suddenly fireworks and New Year's Eve came to mind. To begin, I heat embossed Fireworks Stamp Set on Strathmore Bristol Smooth card stock with gold detail embossing powder, then sponged a night sky using bright colors to highlight three of the larger fireworks.
Once that was dry, I spattered slightly watered-down white craft paint for stars, then adhered it directly to a Sweet Tooth card stock base.
Next I heat embossed City Block Background on Black Licorice card stock then trimmed a section to use as the bottom horizontal element, popped up on foam tape.
And there you have it! Now it’s YOUR turn to play! Remember, you can get all the details by visiting the MFT Blog. You have the chance to win a $50 in MFT voucher. Winners are chosen at random, so everyone has a chance!
Thanks for stopping by! See you soon!
