Happy Birthday - MFT Wednesday Sketch Challenge #534

Hi, everyone, I’m back with this week’s MFT Wednesday Sketch Challenge! Are you ready? Here’s this week’s sketch. All of the details about the sketch challenge are available on the MFT Blog as well as in the weekly newsletter. The MFT Design Team will be on hand to provide plenty of inspiration to get you started.

This sketch made me think a bit but finally I came up with this design. To begin, I cut Strathmore Bristol Smooth paper with Slimline Starter Die-namics then sponged Big Balloons Stencil with Candied Apple, Ripe Persimmon. Fossilized Amber, Peeled Paint, Broken China, Stormy Sky, and Wilted Violet Distress Inks, then spattered it with black acrylic ink and a small art brush, then hand-drew in the strings.

Hand-Lettered Happy Birthday and Captions Alphabet Die-namics were cut from Black Licorice card stock--Captions Alphabet six times--and adhered to the card front, which was then adhered to a Sweet Tooth card stock base.

And there you have it! Now it’s YOUR turn to play! Remember, you can get all the details by visiting the
MFT Blog. You have the chance to win a $50 in MFT voucher. Winners are chosen at random, so everyone has a chance!

Thanks for stopping by! See you soon!
