Hello and welcome to Day Two of MFT's March card kit, Cats & Plants. Release is on March 23rd, at 10am so make a note. And be sure to stop by the MFT Blog for all the detail.
For today's card I began by creating my background: Broken China and Pumice Stone Distress Inks on Strathmore Bristol Smooth paper adhered directly to a Sweet Tooth card base.
Next I cut Cat & Plant Perches Die-namics from Cement Gray card stock stamped with Wood Plant Background and Kraft dye ink, and cut Houseplants Die-namics from No Line Coloring card stock and colored them with Copic markers.
I arranged all of the elements until I was happy with it and stamped the sentiment from Housecats Stamp set with Extreme Black hybrid ink and adhered everything with foam tape. To simulate the spilled soil, I adhered some brown Prills on the "floor". I really did have so much fun with the card!
