MFT March Card Kit: Cats & Plants - Countdown Day Two

If you know me you know I love cats and have been owned by many over the years. Because of this, I don't have houseplants, LOL! It's just not worth the trouble to keep them apart, as you'll see by my card design ;-)

This kit is amazing!!!! Adorable images and Die-namics and super fun sentiments and a new patterned paper!! I had so much fun with this release!!

For today's card I began by creating my background: Broken China and Pumice Stone Distress Inks on Strathmore Bristol Smooth paper adhered directly to a Sweet Tooth card base.

Next I cut Cat & Plant Perches Die-namics from Cement Gray card stock stamped with Wood Plant Background and Kraft dye ink, and cut Houseplants Die-namics from No Line Coloring card stock and colored them with Copic markers.

Then I stamped an image from House Cats Stamp Set, cut it out with the coordinating Die-namics and colored it with Copic markers. 

I arranged all of the elements until I was happy with it and stamped the sentiment from Housecats Stamp set with Extreme Black hybrid ink and adhered everything with foam tape. To simulate the spilled soil, I adhered some brown Prills on the "floor". I really did have so much fun with the card!
