Hi,
everyone, I’m back with this week’s MFT
Wednesday Sketch Challenge!
Are you ready? Here’s this week’s sketch. All of the details
about the sketch challenge are available on the MFT
Blog
as well as in the weekly newsletter. The MFT Design Team will be
on hand to provide plenty of inspiration to get you started.
While searching for something to serve as the star focal point in the sketch i ran across Say Hello Die-namics and stopped right there--it's perfect! To begin my card, on a Sweet Tooth card stock base, I adhered a panel of Black & White Stripes Patterned Paper and set it aside.
I already knew I wanted to do Say Hello Die-namics in a rainbow design so I cut it from Strathmore Bristol Smooth paper and left it in the negative. I did this because I was going to sponge it with ink and it's SO much easier if you do that. I used Red Hot, Orange Zest, Lemon Drop, Sour Apple, Caribbean Sea, Blue Yonder, Grape Jelly dye inks, removed it from the negative, stacked it with three more copies cut from scrap white card stock, and adhered them together in a stack.
Once that was done I adhered it to the card front and finished off with some glitter enamel dots in matching colors.
And
there you have it! Now it’s YOUR turn to play! Remember,
you can get all the details by visiting the MFT
Blog. You
have the chance to win a $50 in MFT voucher. Winners are chosen at
random, so everyone has a chance!
Thanks
for stopping by! See you soon!
