I really don't know when I've had so much fun with a card kit! They're all fabulous but as a cat lover this one has really spoken to me. For today's card I started by creating my room scene background. I used the patterned paper in the kit, Wallpaper Patterns, along with hand drawing my oak floor.
Once that was all done I cut the window opening, inserted the window (there's clear acetate behind it but you can't really see it) and added the sky outside, using Mini Cloud Edges with Broken China Distress Ink. The drapes were cut from more patterned paper and the rod was cut from Gold Shine card stock and all popped up on foam tape.
the image were stamped on No Line Coloring card stock with Extreme Black hybrid ink, cut out with the coordinating Die-namics, and colored with Copic markers. They were added to the scene with foam tape, along with the Cat & Plant Perch that was stamped with Kraft Ink on Cement Gray card stock using Wood Plank Background. To finish off, the sentiment was stamped on Cement Gray card stock cut with Skinny Strips Die-namics and also adhered with foam tape.
And that's it from me today--thanks for stopping by! See you back tomorrow for the release Cats & Plants, MFT's March Card Kit!
