I Wish You Lived Next Door - MFT Wednesday Sketch Challenge #546

Hi, everyone, I’m back with this week’s MFT Wednesday Sketch Challenge! Are you ready? Here’s this week’s sketch. All of the details about the sketch challenge are available on the MFT Blog as well as in the weekly newsletter. The MFT Design Team will be on hand to provide plenty of inspiration to get you started.

What an interesting sketch! And a challenge, which is what this is all about! I searched all my sets for just the right things to fit inside those circles and I landed on My Neighborhood Die-namics.

To begin, I created a 5 1/2" square card base then cut a panel 1/4" smaller all around from Strathmore Bristol Smooth paper and proceeded to stencil my background. Top to bottom, Mini Cloud Edges Stencil with Lazy Day dye ink, Radiating Rays Stencil with Lemon Drop dye ink, and Drifts & Hills Stencil with Sour Apple dye ink. Once that was done and dried to prevent smudges, I cut the circles out with Inside & Out Stitched Circle STAX Die-namics and popped it up on the card base with foam tape. The circles were adhered directly to the card base with tape runner.

Next I cut My Neighborhood Die-namics from Sweet Tooth card stock and popped them up inside the circle and heat embossed the sentiment, from Right at Home Stamp Set on Black Licorice card stock cut with Stitched Fishtail Sentiment Strips Die-namics. To finish off I added a few Petite Cloud Die-namics cut from Sweet Tooth card stock. I love this!

And there you have it! Now it’s YOUR turn to play! Remember, you can get all the details by visiting the MFT Blog. You have the chance to win a $50 in MFT voucher. Winners are chosen at random, so everyone has a chance!

Thanks for stopping by! See you soon!
