You Make Me Feel Right at Home - MFT Wednesday Sketch Challenge #544

Hi, everyone, I’m back with this week’s MFT Wednesday Sketch Challenge! Are you ready? Here’s this week’s sketch. All of the details about the sketch challenge are available on the MFT Blog as well as in the weekly newsletter. The MFT Design Team will be on hand to provide plenty of inspiration to get you started.

What a great sketch! SO many ways this can be interpreted! I decided to use Falling Leaves Die-namics for the circle elements on my feel good card.

To begin, I cut Ranger Watercolor paper with Slimline Starter Die-namics and heat embossed City Block Background using white detail embossing powder. I had to stamp it twice so I moved the sentiment strip down to cover up the overlap but I doubt you could tell where it is--it worked out so well. Then I did a watercolor wash with Peerless Watercolors and spattered it with gold acrylic ink and adhered it to a Sweet Tooth card base.

The sentiment was heat embossed with gold detail embossing powder on Eiffel Tower card stock cut with Fishtail Foundations Die-namics. Falling Leaves Die-namics were cut from Ranger Watercolor paper, colored with Peerless Watercolors, and sponged with Delicata Gold pigment ink. Once dry, they were popped up with foam tape, as was the sentiment strip.

And there you have it! Now it’s YOUR turn to play! Remember, you can get all the details by visiting the
MFT Blog. You have the chance to win a $50 in MFT voucher. Winners are chosen at random, so everyone has a chance!

Thanks for stopping by! See you soon!
