Color Throwdown #28

This card is for the Color Throwdown Challenge #28 and these colors were chosen by yours truly: Chocolate Chip, Riding Hood Red, and Pirouette Pink. I've been dying to use my new Basic Grey Bittersweet paper but I was holding off for *my* colors, LOL.

My base card is Chocolate Chip, with a layer of Riding Hood Red then a layer of DP. The second element is the same, with different DP and the third is the same except the top layer is Pirouette Pink--I added a couple flat-back hearts to balance that element and it's up on 3M foam squares. The focal image uses a stamp from the Hero Arts set Valentine Flourishes and is stamped twice on more DP in Riding Hood Red. The first one was cut out with a Nestabilities die, and the second image was cut out with scissors, including some swirls, and is also up on foam squares. The other layers are self-explanatory I think, and the whole thing is up on foam squares. The sentiment is from the same set and is stamped on DP with Riding Hood Red and is matted with Riding Hood Red and Chocolate Chip--up on foam squares, as well. I really love this paper!!!!!!!!!!! It's almost good enough to eat, LOL!

C'mon over to the Color Throwdown blog and play along with us this week. If you upload your card to a public forum, please use the keyword CTD28 so we can see your beauty all in one place. And if you play, you *could* be picked as our Featured Stamper and a guest designer! Hope to see you there!

Be sure to check out what the other team members have come up with this week:
