Hello, there and welcome to MFT’s April Design Team Creative Challenge. They say April showers bring May flowers so in anticipation of that floral bounty we’re about to be the beneficiaries of, we’re embracing those delicate beauties with stamped, die-cut, and stenciled designs you’ll swoon over. With designs so fresh you’ll swear you can detect a slight fragrance in the air, our team is bound to inspire your next botanical beauty of a project.
I decided to use the recently released Modern Blooms for my card. I started with a Sweet Tooth card stock base, added a Black Licorice card stock layer, on the wonky, then Grout Gray card stock layer, also on the wonky, stamped with Grout Gray dye ink and Simply Circles Background, then the main panel. It was first stamped with Modern Blooms and Limelight dye ink, Green Room dye ink, Coral Crush dye ink, Orange Zest dye ink, Daffodil dye ink, Tickled Pink dye ink, Cotton Candy dye ink, Wild Wisteria dye ink, then overstamped with a sentiment from True Friends in Black Licorice dye ink. I finished off with a few clear sequins.
On the INSIDE, I stamped another sentiment from True Friends on a Sweet Tooth card stock panel cut with Blueprints 24 Die-namics.
And there you have it! Thanks so much for stopping by today—see you soon!
