MFT April Die-namics Design Challenge - ABC 123

Hi, everyone and welcome to this month’s Die-namics Design Design Team Challenge! This month’s challenge is ABC – 123. Apologies in advance if you can’t get that song out of your head, now…it really is as easy as 1-2-3 with our alphabet and number Die-namics though! We’ve been challenged to showcase the versatility of those elemental wonders with cards and projects that feature our abundance of diverse alphabet and number themed Die-namics.

I supposed I chose the obvious theme for my card—a teacher appreciation card, but it was totally FUN to make! I started with a Grout Gray card stock base. Next up is a Office Supplies Die-namics clip board made from Kraft card stock and Ranger Silver Foil card stock. On the clip board is some Sweet Tooth card stock stamped with Writing Tablet Background and Berrylicious dye ink along with a strip of Copic-colored pencils from BB Class Act, held on with a paper clip, also from Office Supplies Die-namics. Next is a Red Delicious Die-namics cut from Wild Cherry card stock, Gumdrop Green card stock, and Chocolate Brown card stock, popped up on foam mounting tape. Also popped up on foam are LLD Little Letters Die-namics cut from Black Licorice card stock and Square Frames Die-namics, cut from Kraft card stock and stamped with Wood Plank Background and Grout Gray dye ink. Inside the frame is Black Licorice card stock stamped with Versamark and more images from BB Class Act, then heat embossed with white detail embossing powder. The frame is embellished with LLD Little Numbers Die-namics cut from Wild Cherry card stock and a the ruler from LLD Document It - School Days. It was stamped on In the Buff card stock after also being stamped with Wood Plank Background and Grout Gray dye ink, then cut out with a die from Blueprints 13 Die-namics. I finished off with some gold stars cut from gold glitter paper and Scattered Stars Die-namics and Sun, Moon, & Stars Die-namics.

Another sentiment from BB Class Act was stamped on the inside.

Be sure to check out what the other designers have for you today at the MFT Blog. Thanks for stopping by! See you soon!

  1. Wow! This a great card. My daughter is a teacher and I'm sure she would love getting a card like this one.

  2. I love all of your work, all of it, but this card - you hit an out of the park grand slam! So very cool Barb. It's a perfectly balanced and extremely well thought out card down to every single detail. You didn't miss a beat. I wish this kind of card making came as naturally to me as it does to you. It's just perfect.

  3. This is a great card love all the elements you incorporate d

Thank you for your kind comments--they make my day and I appreciate every one!
