A Friend Like You–C4C #282

Hi, everyone, welcome to this week’s Crazy 4 Challenges! It’s sketch week and Lynn has a fun one for us this week.

Obviously, I flipped it, but other than that I stayed pretty true to the sketch. I started with a Primitive Cream card stock base, then stamped up some Kraft card stock with Versamark and On the Diagonal Background. I cut that out with Blueprints 23 Die-namics, added some Black Licorice strips on either side, and popped it up on foam mounting tape. I added some LJD Circle Scribble Flowers Die-namics cut from Daffodil card stock, Ripe Raspberry card stock, Summer Splash card stock, and Sour Apple card stock, stamped with LJD Circle Scribble Flowers and Black Licorice dye ink. I popped them up on foam, as well. The sentiment is from Friends Like Us and was stamped on Black Licorice card stock with Sweet Tooth Pigment ink and heat embossed with white detail embossing powder, then popped up on foam mounting tape. I finished off with some enamel dots.

Another sentiment from Friends Like Us was stamped on the inside with Black Licorice dye ink.

And that's it! Be sure to check out what the rest of the design team has for you, including our April Guest Designer, Vicki Burdick!

THEN, you know what to do--we'd love to have you come along and play with us. Just do your thing with the challenge and link it to Mr. Linky on the Crazy 4 Challenges blog. Please link directly to your project. And, if you upload to a public gallery, please use the key word C4C282.

Thanks so much for stopping by today—see you soon!
