Celebrate Today

This card is for MFT Sketch Challenge #71. I love the colors in this Memory Box paper, Sweetbay, and I decided it would look good with this Rosemary image from MFT.

My base card is Close To Cocoa with layers of Certainly Celery, So Saffron, and Sweetbay DP. The focal image was stamped on Gina K. Pure Luxury 80 lb. paper with Memento Rich Cocoa and colored with Copic Markers (see below for colors used). It was then sponged with Ranger Distress Ink in Vintage Photo, matted on Soft Sky (retired In Color) and Certainly Celery and popped up on 3M foam squares. The sentiment, from PTI's Mixed Messages set, was stamped and sponged in the same way and cut out with a Spellbinders tag die. I tied a celery green satin ribbon knot onto a spiral clip, attached it to the lower left corner of the focal image, and tied the sentiment onto that with Perle cotton. Prima flowers with a Buildabrad made with DP, leaves made with a Martha Stewart punch, and some aqua colored Dew Drops finish it off. Soft and sweet.

Thanks for dropping by!
