Hey there, everyone! Today’s card is for the new Catered Crop Recipe Challenge, which is to give a shout out to your BFF (Best Friend Forever). So, here’s to mine, Tammy Hershberger :) Thanks for being such an awesome friend, girlie!
As is so often the case, this card started with a Sweet Tooth card stock base. I layered on some Orange Fizz card stock that was stamped with Diagonal Stripes Background and Steel Gray ink, then layered on another Sweet Tooth card stock layer that was stamped with LJD Darling Dots and Berrylicious ink. The final layer is yet another piece of Sweet Tooth card stock, this one sprayed with a mixture of Berrylicious ink refill, MIX-ables Sheer Shimmer Mist, and water, then sprayed on with a Mini Mister. I let it run some for a bit of an abstract look. I then stamped the sentiment, from Complimentary Greetings with Steel Gray ink. Next I added a Leaf-Filled Flourish Die-namics cut from Fuse Green card stock and a Pretty Posies Die-namics flower. The bottom layer was simply cut from Orange Fizz card stock but the top was cut from vellum and stamped with Linen Background and Orange Fizz ink for a subtle look of texture. I added a Fuse Green button, tied with blue hemp and finished off with some sequins and clear gems.
The inside has another sentiment from Complimentary Greetings and a strip of “patterned paper”.
And that’s it for today! Thanks so much for stopping by! Be sure to hop on over to the Catered Crop blog and play along!
