Hi, everyone, and welcome to Day Five of MFT’s July Release Countdown! Today we’re previewing Tag Builder Blueprints 1 Die-namics, Balloon STAX Die-namics, Happy Birthday Background, and Grid Stencil. Be sure to stop by the MFT Blog for all the details and don’t forget that release is on June 8th at 10pm!
The first thing that I thought of when I saw the Square Grid Cover-Up Die-namics was WINDOW!!! So I couldn’t wait to create a little scene using it that way. This card started with a Sno Cove card stock base, on which I stamped Happy Birthday Background using Grout Gray ink—I just wanted a subtle impressing and that did the trick. Then I cut my Square Grid Cover-Up Die-namics from Sweet Tooth card stock and arranged my scene with a Lemon Drop card stock sun from Sun, Moon, & Stars Die-namics, and some Sweet Tooth card stock clouds cut with Cloud Cover-Up Die-namics. My “window” was popped up on foam for dimension.
Next I created my balloons by cutting Razzle Berry card stock and Sour Apple card stock using the new Balloons STAX Die-namics. I stamped the Sour Apple balloon with Diagonal Stripes Background and Grout Gray ink, tied some hemp cord around and adhered them with foam tape. The sentiment, from Birthday Chalkboard Greetings, was stamped on a Fishtail Flags STAX Die-namics strip (I fishtailed both ends) with Black Licorice Hybrid ink and popped up on foam.
A sentiment from LJD Celebrate You was stamped on the inside of the card.
And that’s it for Day Five Release Countdown! Thanks so much for stopping by—see you back tomorrow for another day of July Release Countdown!
