Hi, everyone, and welcome to the last day of MFT’s July Release Countdown! Today we’re previewing Tag Talk Die-namics – Free with $60, Happy Everything Stamp Set, Happy Die-namics, and Diagonal Stripes Stencil. Be sure to pop on over to the MFT Blog for all the details, and don’t forget the release is TONIGHT at 10pm :)
In case you haven’t noticed, I love making my own patterned paper :) And with every release, MFT makes it easier to come up with different designs. Today’s paper was made by stenciling Razzle Berry ink and Sour Apple ink with the new Diagonal Stripes Stencil to create a checked pattern. I love the subtle variations in color intensity—makes it so interesting. I applied the ink directly to my Sweet Tooth card stock card base, then created my sentiment panel. For that, I used another piece of Sweet Tooth card stock and, to show the versatility of MFT stencils, swiped on some embossing paste with the same stencil. I stamped the “EVERYTHING” part of the sentiment with an image from Happy Everything with Steel Gray ink, tied around some baker’s twine, and popped it up on foam on the card base. I cut one of the Happy Die-namics from Razzle Berry card stock and popped it up on foam for dimension, then finished off with some enamel dots.
The sentiment on the inside is from Happy Everything and was stamped with Steel Gray ink and Razzle Berry ink.
And that’s it for MFT’s July Release Countdown! Thanks so much for stopping by! Hope to see you tonight at the release party and have fun shopping!
