Hey, everyone! Welcome to the first day of MFT July Release Countdowns! Today we’re previewing Blueprints 17 Die-namics, LJD Celebrate You Stamp Set, LJD Celebrate You Die-namics, and Birthday Chalkboard Greetings. Be sure to check by the MFT Blog to get all the details—release is on July 8th at 10pm so put that on your calendars :)
I have two cards for you today. Both are using LJD Celebrate You Stamp Set in different ways. The first one is very CAS and was quick to make. I started with a Kraft card stock base, then trimmed down a Sweet Tooth card stock panel. I stamped the border from the set in Insulation Pink ink, Banana Split ink, Limeade ink, Sno Cone ink, and Grapesicle ink. I stamped the sentiment from the set with Black Licorice Hybrid ink, popped it up on the base with foam and it was done.
Another sentiment from the set was stamped on the inside.
*****
My second card uses the coordinating LJD Celebrate You Die-namics, too.
This card also starts with a Kraft card stock base. I stamped the border across the bottom with Natural ink, then added the sentiment using Steel Gray ink. On a trimmed down panel of Primitive White card stock, I stenciled on some embossing paste with the soon to be released Grid Stencil and popped it up on foam. Next I cut LJD Celebrate You Die-namics from Primitive White card stock, stamped them with the coordinating stamps from LJD Celebrate You Stamp Set using Kraft ink, Berrylicious ink, Blu Raspberry ink, and Razzle Berry ink. I popped them up on foam, added some enamel dots, and it was done, too.
Another sentiment from LJD Celebrate You Stamp Set was stamped on the inside.
This card is also for this week’s Color Throwdown Challenge—check the blog for all the details.
Thanks so much for stopping by! Hope to see you back later for this week’s MFTWSC and tomorrow for another Release Countdown!
