Hi, everyone, and welcome back to Day Six of MFT’s July Release Countdown! Today we’re previewing File Folder Edges Die-namics (June’s Free With $60 set), Pinking Edge Circle STAX Die-namics, and Diagonal Stripes Background. Be sure to pop on over to the MFT Blog for all the details, and don’t forget the release is on July 8th at 10pm :)
I decided to make a fun shaker card with Pinking Edge Circle STAX Die-namics today, and I’m also using Diagonal Stripes Background for my “patterned paper”. My card starts with a Steel Gray card stock base, then I made my shaker front by stamping Diagonal Stripes Background on Sweet Tooth card stock with Steel Gray ink. I trimmed it down and cut out the opening with Pinking Edge Circle STAX Die-namics. The back of my shaker opening was covered with a Circle STAX Die-namics die cut and popped up on foam after I filled it with sequins in some primary colors.
Before I did that, though, I cut two lines of holes using a die from Blueprints 15 Die-namics. After the shaker panel was in place, I added the sentiment, from Birthday Chalkboard Greetings, also popped up on foam. To complete the design, I added some Balloon STAX Die-namics, cut from Blu Raspberry card stock, Razzle Berry card stock, Sour Apple card stock, Orange Fizz card stock, and Lemon Drop card stock. I added hemp cord strings, tied them all together, and popped them up on foam.
Another Balloon STAX Die-namics and a sentiment from LJD Celebrate You were added to the inside.
And that’s it for today! Thanks SO much for stopping by! See you back tomorrow for Day Two Release Countdown!!
