Wishing You the Best–SSSC #226

SSSC226_2014jul6

Hey, there, and welcome to this week’s Sweet Sunday Sketch Challenge! Karen has another classic design for us this week with lots of possibilities.

SSSC226
I’m using some soon-to-be-released products from MFT on today’s card. First of all, and obviously, I flipped the sketch. I started with a Kraft card stock base, then, for the bottom element, I stenciled on some embossing paste with Diagonal Stripes stencil. I love to stencil in design elements—they’re very versatile. Then, using Birthday Chalkboard Greetings, I stamped the sentiment on Steel Gray card stock with Sweet Tooth pigment ink and heat embossed with white embossing powder. I popped that up on foam, then created the gift, using LJD Celebrate You and LJD Celebrate You Die-namics, cut from Sweet Tooth card stock and stamped with Grout Gray ink and Red Hot ink. I popped that up on foam, as well and finished off with some red enamel dots.

A sentiment from
LJD Celebrate You was stamped on the inside with Steel Gray ink.
