Hi everyone, welcome to Day Four of MFT’s May Release Countdown! We have another fun line up for you today, including BB Magical Unicorns Stamp Set, BB Magical Unicorns Die-namics, Rainbow Greetings Stamp Set, End of the Rainbow Die-namics, Hello Beautiful Die-namics, and Inside & Out Stitched Stars Die-namics. Remember release is May 3rd at 10pm—be sure to stop by the MFT Blog for all the details.
I love the awesome sentiments in the new Rainbow Greetings stamp set and I wanted to illustrate the theme of this sentiment: “You’re the Pot of Gold at the End of My Rainbow”. To do this I’d have to conjure up a pot of some kind so I looked through all my Die-namics and found just what I needed! The short jar in Candy Jar Die-namics works perfectly! I cut it from Black Licorice card stock, cut off the “foot” and covered the raw area with gold “coins” created from Gold Shine card stock and Gumball Machine Die-namics. Love it when I can find multiple uses for a product.
My card base was made from Stone Gray card stock and I made the background by doing a watercolor wash with Peerless Watercolors on Ranger Watercolor paper. End of the Rainbow Die-namics was cut from Red Hot card stock, Orange Fizz card stock, Lemon Drop card stock, Gumdrop Green card stock, Blue Yonder card stock, Grape Jelly card stock and the cloud from Sweet Tooth card stock. The sentiment was stamped with Versamark on Translucent Vellum and heat embossed with white detail embossing powder. I scored and wrapped the ends around to secure, then added lots of coins both IN the pot and around on the “ground”.

I have another card today using Pretty Posies and Hello Beautiful Die-namics.
This card started by stamping Pretty Posies on Ranger Watercolor paper with Black Licorice hybrid ink and coloring them with Peerless Watercolors. Pretty Posies is quickly becoming one of my very favorite flower stamp sets. I cut an off-center opening with Inside & Out Stitched Circle STAX Die-namics and popped it up on a Sweet Tooth card stock base with foam mounting tape. I added the “beautiful” from Hello Beautiful Die-namics, layered three times for strength, and popped up over the opening on foam.
The sentiment was completed with Label Maker Sentiments stamped on Sweet Tooth card stock cut with Label Tape Die-namics and also popped up on the opening. I finished off with some enamel dots. This card is also for this week’s Crazy 4 Challenges.
And that’s it for today’s MFT May Release Countdown, Day Four. Thanks for stopping by! See you tomorrow for Day Three!
