Hello and welcome to this week’s Color Throwdown Challenge! Wanda is our hostess and she has a classic color combo for us.
I started with a Sweet Tooth card stock base. I added a strip of Rainbow Stripes Paper Pack down the left side and then stamped up more Sweet Tooth card stock with Garden Flourish Background and Daffodil dye ink. After tying around some baker’s twine, I popped it up on foam mounting tape, allowing the striped strip to show.
I added Friends Die-namics, cut from Blueberry card stock and popped up on foam and a sentiment from Label Maker Sentiments and Label Tape Die-namics, stamped with Blueberry dye ink. As a little somethin’ extra, I added an arrow, cut from Gold Shine card stock with Tag Builder Blueprints 5 Die-namics and finished off with a few enamel dots.
And that’s it from me! Remember, you do not have to have the exact colors to play the Color Throwdown challenge. If you don't, just use the closest you have. So, c'mon over to the Color Throwdown blog and play along with us this week. Please use the link service to post your card and please link directly to your card so we can find it easily. And please include a link in your post to the Color Throwdown. If you upload your card to a public forum, please use the keyword CTD390 so we can see your beauty all in one place, and use #ctd390 and #colorthrowdown on social media. Hope to see you there! Be sure to check out what the other team members have come up with this week, including our incredibly talented April Guest Designer, Amy Rohl!
