Hi, everyone, are you ready??!! MFT’s Jungle Friends Card Kit is now available for purchase in the MFT Boutique! You’ve seen some amazing samples over the last couple of days from the design team and that’s just the tip of the creative iceberg—so many things you can do with this kit. Be sure to check by the MFT Blog for more info and more samples, then go snag yours!
This crocodile just makes me smile--he doesn’t look very dangerous, does he? This card is also “out of the box” meaning I used some products not included in the kit to show you how you can stretch the contents even further. I started with a Primitive Cream card stock base, then used Peerless Watercolors to create my sky on Watercolor Paper Pad. I used this paper because it’s not pure white like the Ranger and matched my base better. Then I added water from the kit contents and created my slider track using a die that curves to show movement both across the card and up out of the water.
Here he is hiding so you can barely see him…
…the top card shows him mid way and this one shows him coming out of the water. He cracks me up, I tell ya!
I cut my crocodile from Cement Gray card stock and added some dimension with Copic markers. The sun was cut with Blueprints 15 from Sunshine card stock and Puffy Clouds Die-namics were cut from Sweet Tooth card stock. The sentiment, from Jungle Friends, was stamped on Gravel Gray card stock with Versamark and heat embossed with white detail embossing powder. Dimension was created with foam mounting tape.
And that’s it! Thanks so much for stopping by! See you soon and happy shopping!!
