Hi, everyone, It’s time! MFT’s April Release is live right NOW!! All of the products we’ve been showing you for the last five days are now available for purchase in the MFT Boutique!
I have a couple of cards for you showcasing I’m Tweet On You Stamp Set and I’m Tweet On You Die-namics and I’m using a couple other April Release products, as well. But first, I have to tell you that I am thrilled to be a contributor to this month’s FREE mini classes—there are four tutorials in one PDF file that can be found in the Resources Section of the MFT Blog.
My first card started with a Sweet Tooth card stock base. Next I stamped up more Sweet Tooth card stock with Sheet Music Background and Black Licorice dye ink, then cut out the center with the new Inside & Out Stitched Rounded Rectangle STAX Die-namics and set it aside. Next I did a watercolor wash on Ranger Watercolor Paper with Peerless Watercolors, stamped the sentament from I’m Tweet On You, added Grassy Fields Die-namics cut from Sour apple card stock, adhered it to the card front, and popped up the sheet music “frame” on foam mounting tape.
I added Radiant Sun Die-namics cut from Sunshine card stock, Puffy Clouds Die-namics cut from Sweet Tooth card stock, and several images from I’m Tweet On You, stamped with Black Licorice hyrid ink on X-Press It Blending Card and cut with I’m Tweet On You Die-namics. I colored them with Copic markers, added Glossy Accents to the water in the bird bath, and arranged my images into a scene, popped up on foam.
*****
My second card features another scene :)
This one started with a Kraft card stock base. It also has a background done with Peerless Watercolors on Ranger Watercolor paper, but it was cut with Wonky Stitched Rectangle STAX Die-namics and popped up on foam on the base after the sentiment was stamped with Black Licorice hybrid ink.
To create the scene, I added Radiant Sun Die-namics, cut from Sunshine card stock, Puffy Clouds Die-namics cut from Sweet Tooth card stock, and several images from I’m Tweet On You, stamped with Black Licorice hyrid ink on X-Press It Blending Card, and cut with I’m Tweet On You Die-namics. I colored them with Copic markers and popped them up on foam to finish off.
And that’s it! I hope I’ve given you some ideas for using YOUR I’m Tweet On You stamp set and Die-namics in some fun ways. Thanks so much for stopping by…and happy shopping!! And don’t forget that MFT will be giving away TWO $100 vouchers—to have a chance to win one, be sure to comment on each of the designers’ blogs by end of the day on Thursday, April 7th. The winners will be announced on the MFT Blog on Friday, April 8th. Good luck!!
