Thankful Leaves–MFT October Teaser, Day Four

Hi, everyone! Welcome to Day Four of MFT’s October teasers! Today we’re showing you another Lisa Johnson set, Thankful Leaves. This is an another awesome set from Lisa with matching Die-namics Fall Leaves. There are SO many ways to use these two products that I know you’re going to love them! OK, for my first card, I went super CAS. I started with a Kraft card stock base, added a Tangy Orange card stock layer, and topped it off with a Whip Cream card stock top. I ran three score lines down the right side, tied around some hemp cord, and stamped the sentiment from the set. Then I cut out the maple leaf, stamped the image, after inking it up with the rock and roll technique, and stamped in the veins. Finally, I popped it up on foam and added some flat backed pearls for balance.

Card two is pretty CAS, but I did more stamping. Another Kraft card stock base and more Whip Cream card stock for layering plus stamping, and another Tangy Orange card stock layer. Using Thankful Leaves, I stamped the leaves, again using the rock and roll technique to make my own patterned paper, added some Sour Apple ribbon, more hemp cord, and topped it off with one of the soon-to-be-released Die-namics Sunflower.
