OK, for my first card, I went super CAS. I started with a Kraft card stock base, added a Tangy Orange card stock layer, and topped it off with a Whip Cream card stock top. I ran three score lines down the right side, tied around some hemp cord, and stamped the sentiment from the set. Then I cut out the maple leaf, stamped the image, after inking it up with the rock and roll technique, and stamped in the veins. Finally, I popped it up on foam and added some flat backed pearls for balance.

The inside has another sentiment from the set

Card two is pretty CAS, but I did more stamping. Another Kraft card stock base and more Whip Cream card stock for layering plus stamping, and another Tangy Orange card stock layer. Using Thankful Leaves, I stamped the leaves, again using the rock and roll technique to make my own patterned paper, added some Sour Apple ribbon, more hemp cord, and topped it off with one of the soon-to-be-released Die-namics Sunflower.

  19. Oh Barbara, I LOVE both of your cards! I love the simplicity of the first one - I really am liking CAS stuff - usually great ideas for more masculine cards. And I love the second one -- you are quite right about the detail on that sunflower die-namic! OhMyGosh! It is my daughter's favorite flower so of course I buy everything remotely sunflower-y -- for all I know she likes a different flower now! :) Thank you for showing the sunflower die-namic and your beautiful eye for color! The rock -n- roll technique is perfect for autumn leaves too!
