I made a gift set for my project today. For the card, I stamped the image from Who's that Girl Plays Golf on Neenah Classic Crest Cover, Solar White Smooth, 130lb paper with Memento Tuxedo Black ink and paper pieced her top. The rest of WTG and the golf clubs/bag are colored with Copic markers. I couldn’t resist putting her in a little scene, using Die-namics Woodgrain Fence and Die-namics Fresh Cut Grass dies cuts for the background. Then I matted the image and popped it up on foam. The sentiment was stamped on a Die-namics First Place Award Ribbon die cut and attached to the Caribbean Teal Baker’s Twine tied button. I then cut a strip of patterned paper, stitched it down at intervals, and stuck in some golf tees.
For the tag, I cut it out with a Die-namics Tag You’re It die cut and made a little scene on it, as well, again with the fence and grass, and adding Die-namics Sunshine. The sentiment was stamped on a Die-namics Mini Wavy Pennants die cut and the pole is from the Die-namics Mini Pennant set. I finished it off with some twill and a twine-tied button. I think a box of golf balls would be a perfect thing to put in the bag, don’t you?
Here’s the inside with another sentiment from the set.
Here are the Die-namics dies I used on this project:
Thanks so much for stopping by! I’ll be back later with this week’s MFT Wednesday Sketch Challenge!
