I’m back again with today’s noon-time challenge: The Book Worm Challenge. Get all the details at the Flourishes Blog.
So, I decided to make a traditional-style bookmark for the challenge. First of all, I cut the base the size I wanted, then die cut the end with a Labels Eighteen Nestabilities die. I did the same thing with the two layers and added a large eyelet at the top. Then I stamped my Lily Of the Valley image from Botanical Bookplates, Vol. 2 on Classic White card stock with Memento Tuxedo Black ink and colored with these Copic Collections:
Then I cut it out with my Tailor-Made Classic Bookplate Template die and my Grand Calibur machine and adhered it to the bookmark.
To bring out the blue shadowing, I added a sweet little aqua twine-tied button and matching ribbon at the top.
My birthday is in May and Lily Of the Valley is my flower, so this little book mark just might end up in my books :)
Thanks so much for stopping by! And good luck with the challenge! I’ll see you back here tomorrow for the final sneak of this release!
