- If you'd like to see all the teasers for today, please click on over to the MFT Blog NOW. Be sure to leave comments as you go for the chance to win one of 2, $10 gift certificates given away daily. The winners will be posted on September 10 just before the release party, on the MFT blog.
AND, did you see the new products being offered this month? Not only does MFT have a new color this month, we now have a card stock sampler—a pack of 29 sheets for $8.95. If you think you see some more new colors, your eyes aren’t deceiving you. A perk of buying the sampler pack is getting a sneak peek at two more new colors that haven’t been released yet.
Alrighty, then, on to my card :) I stamped PI – Prehistoric Girl on Neenah Classic Crest Cover, Solar White Smooth, 130lb paper, colored her with Copic markers and paper pieced her “dress”. Then I sponged the edges with Frayed Burlap distress ink and sanded the edges to give it some “age”, then matted it with Black Licorice card stock. My layout is pretty self-explanatory, I think. I’m using Kraft card stock, Black Licorice card stock, a Black Licorice button, and a Kraft button, along with some stitching. The sentiment was stamped on a Die-namics Airplane Greetings Die Only flag die cut.
Here’s the inside with the rest of the sentiment.
Here is the Die-namics die I used on this card:
And that’s it for me! Thanks so much for stopping by! Hope to see you back tomorrow for my Die-namics Feature and then tomorrow night for the release party followed by the New Product Tour.
