MFTCPC#25_2015july10

Hi, all, I'm back with this week's MFT Color Challenge! Are you ready? Here’s this week’s color combo: Peach Bellini, Daffodil, Lavender Fields, and Limelight. All of the details about the color challenge are available on the MFT Challenge & Inspiration blog as well as in the weekly newsletter. The MFT Challenge & Inspiration Team will be on hand to provide plenty of inspiration to get you started.

Yep, another birthday card—can’t have too many of them on hand, right? This one started with a Grout Gray card stock base. Next up is a piece of Sweet Tooth card stock on which I spread some black embossing paste through Split Diagonal Stencil, allowed it to dry, and popped it up on foam mounting tape. Next I cut the “happy” from Brushstroke Birthday Greetings Die-namics four time with each of the challenge colors, adhered the layers together with a Quickie Glue Pen for dimension, then adhered them to the card front. The sentiment, from BB Birthday Bears, was stamped on a strip of Black Licorice card stock with Versamark and heat embossed with white detail embossing powder then also popped up on foam. I finished off with some matching enamel dots and some silver glitter paper stars, cut with Blueprints 17 Die-namics and Scattered Stars Die-namics.

And that’s it! Thanks so much for stopping by! Hope to see you playing along and see you soon!
