Hello, all, welcome to the first day on MFT July Release Countdown! July is birthday month at MFT and we have all kinds of products to help you celebrate birthdays this month! Today we’re featuring Blueprints 26 Die-namics, Piece of Cake Stamp Set, Split Diagonal Stencil, Split Diagonal Background, and Decor & More Numbers!! Release is on July 7th at 10pm. Be sure to check out the MFT Blog for all the festivity information!
I’m using Blueprints 26 Die-namics for my card today—and do you see some patterned paper? YES!!!!!!!!!! MFT now has an exclusive line of patterned paper! We’re releasing two packs this month: Dots & Stripes Sorbet Paper Pack and Plaid Patterns Paper Pack! I’m so excited about these new products and I’m having so much fun using them!!
So, back to the card ;-) The patterned paper that I’m using on this card coordinates with Cotton Candy card stock and Ripe Raspberry card stock. I started with a Sweet tooth card stock base then cut some of that delicious paper with the large balloon from Blueprints 26 Die-namics and popped it up on foam mounting tape. I stamped the sentiment—part of one from a new stamp set, Piece of Cake, with Ripe Raspberry dye ink, then added the balloon strings, cut from Primitive White card stock. I cut several copies of the “happy” die from Black Licorice card stock, glued them together with my Quickie Glue Pen, and adhered it to the card. I finished off with some enamel dots. This was a pretty quick card to make once I got the design done—it would be a quick gift set to make in different colors, don’t you think?
And that’s it from me for the MFT July Release Countdown, Day Five! Thanks so much for stopping by—see you soon!
